Libertyland fans will no doubt answer that it is the best download site ever. But it is not only that! According to Wekyo.com, the pirate site is one of the biggest streaming sites and made the happiness of all those who wish to see films recently released in theaters for free. With a very extensive database, regularly updated, and having a fast and efficient search, the pirate site did not have to be as pale as the competition with platforms like Papystreaming.
Offering a catalog of over 300,000 films, series, software, games, e-books (Magazines, newspapers, books, comics) and music, this site was a veritable gold mine for its users. Hosted in Canada, the site listed sources that facilitate streaming playback or downloading of content.
Why is Libertyland blocked in France?
The production and distribution of audiovisual content and supervised by a strict law which protects copyright with as standard bearer the Hadopi ( High authority for the dissemination of works and protection of rights on the internet ). Three sites whose removal had already been ordered on July 6, 2017. Changes in domain names however justified this return to the TGI in Paris.

The decision specified that ” in the event of difficulties in carrying out the measures ” or of an evolution of the litigation “in particular by the removal of the counterfeit contents noted or the disappearance of the targeted sites or by the modification of the domain names or paths of access, “the claimants had to return to the bar.
This is what they did from June 21, 2018 to renew the prohibition measures. The applicants considered that the clones of these sites should be subject to the same measures. For example, LibertyVF ” is almost entirely infringing ” and continues the activity of the Libertyland site, being accessible in particular via the domain names libertyland.co and libertyland.tv, even libertyvf.org, libertyvf.com.
Same situation for StreamComplet. Stuck on the .com extension, it reappeared under a .me. As for VoirFilms.org or .co, it is accessible on .info, .biz and .ws, sometimes and again via a redirection system.
Same structure, same presentation
These new access roads justified in the eyes of the Paris tribunal de grande instance an update of the measures ordered on July 6, 2017. With regard to Libertyland, “ it appears in particular from the so-called“ update ”report that the site (…) has the same presentation and the same architecture as during the previous observations ”.
The term Libertyland appears several times on the LibertyVF site, and the search for this keyword on Google ” appears to refer to new paths referring to the site called LibertyFV “.
Unlike Google, which reported editorial changes between the old site and the new one, there is a clear link between them for the TGI. There are still a large number of counterfeit works there (17,680, very exactly, 93.50% illegal according to the minutes).
Identical findings for the other two sites. Same presentation, same architecture … ” The disputed sites allow internet users, via the aforementioned access paths, to download or access streaming works protected from hypertext links without having the authorization of the rights holders “.
One year blocking and dereferencing
With regard to ISPs , the TGI of Paris therefore decided to order the main ISPs ( Orange , Bouygues Telecom, Free , SFR and SFR fiber) to block access for one year to the Libertyland, LibertyVF, StreamComplet and VoirFilms sites under many of its areas.
” Such measures are, in the light of freedom of expression and communication, strictly necessary for the preservation of the rights of claimants in so far as they make it possible to prevent or stop massive infringements of copyright or rights neighbors perpetrated on these sites, that they are targeted towards precisely identified domain names, and limited in time ”writes the court.
Regarding Google, the engine would have liked that the dereferencing be limited to a series of URLs pointing specifically to targeted content. ” A requirement that is unsuited to the objective of protecting intellectual property rights and to the massive infringement of these rights, when the same site or the same domain name can contain thousands of pages and as many URL addresses different ”opposed the TGI.
As in another decision rendered the same day , it orders Google to dynamically block any appearance of any of the pages of the Libertyland, LibertyVF, StreamComplet and VoirFilms sites in order to eradicate their online presence.
In the end, these intermediaries will have to cut off access to the following areas for 12 months:

According to our tests, libertyland.al appears at the top of the results. But don’t get me wrong. This site is in line with Zone-Telechargement.al. It is a legal clone edited by Blue Efficience , a company specializing in the fight against online counterfeiting. The links send users to platforms such as Amazon , iTunes, Fnac , Canal VOD or the catalog distributed by Orange . Note however the arrival of a libertyland.film, whose name was registered in December 2018.
The decision is important because it ultimately points out that without legislative updating, it is possible to find solutions to cut access to bypass sites. This problem is however that thrust by the Hadopi, the Dawn MP Bergé or the Ministry of Culture end justify an update of the law Hadopi.
