So what exactly are “alternatives”? They are other anime websites that offer the same content as AnimeRama. How many of them? A lot! But how can I be sure they are any good? Look at them yourself – they all have their reviews.
Before reading further, remember these three important things:
1) I cannot guarantee that any site will stay up forever; it’s your responsibility to keep track by bookmarking these sites and checking on them daily/weekly/monthly for updates;
2) My intention is not to create competition. These sites were added so you can have access to more resources for watching anime online.
3) AnimeRama does not provide links in any way, shape or form to any of the listed alternatives. These sites are all in no-way associated with AnimeRama either directly or indirectly. I will never know if you click on one of the sites/links that I have posted below – these are regular anonymous strangers that share their experience. And finally – NO ADS! The only thing that pops up are ads provided by Google , nothing else. All links are made available through official sources (and Google, fyi).

In Japan, there is a convenient service called Eigyo dorama that provides full episodes from popular series as well as anime movies on their website for free streaming with English subtitles. I have been watching Eigyo dorama’s videos for years and always thought it was a great place to watch anime online… But recently I have noticed changes in their content management system and I’m starting to worry about the future of this site. For example, lately, they stopped providing new anime episodes altogether. Also, a few days ago they stopped putting up information about previously added titles from seasons past (e.g., “Naruto Shippuden ep. x will be available until y date”). It’s all very strange… I’m assuming that some legal reasons force them to make these changes, but the situation is definitely worrisome. Plus, they recently changed their domain name (from anime-rama.com to animeramajp.com), which doesn’t make things better…
I personally hope this website stays online for a long time and would like to ask you about your opinion on this issue: Do you currently use Eigyo dorama as an alternate source for anime streaming? Animeram is an online streaming website for Anime fans. It provides full-length anime series and movies with English subtitles for free without registration/downloads needed. Animes are usually added every day or two days at 12:00 AM JST Time Zone on Saturdays. If you want to watch more than just one episode of a series, you will need to create a free account.
