Both of them have AMD’s latest 7 nm Rayon 4000U series processors with superior performance.
Performance test: 7 nm 4000 series processor support AMD is great!
The new product has new 7 nm 4000 series processor, which can up to 74700U. It has 8 GB/16 GB DDR4 dual-channel memory and 512 GB high-speed solid-state disk with large capacity. The combination of hardware provides superior performance for the new HONOR MagicBook. Let’s look at the results through many expert software tests.
1. CPU
The two laptops we are evaluating have 5 4500U processors. In addition to the 7 nm process technology, they have 6 cores and 6 threads. They have basic frequency of 2.30 GHz, maximum acceleration frequency of 4.00 GHz, TDP15W, and AMD Radeon ™ Graphicsi cards.
Test software: CPU-Z version 1.9.2.0
Test results show that the two laptops’ single-core scores are 489, almost the same. The multi-core scores of HONOR MagicBook 14 is 2832.1. The multi-core scores of HONOR MagicBook 15 is 2849.3. This slight change shows that the larger body size has some impact on cooling and performance. Such a gap may be unimportant in practical applications. The real impact on user experience is the difference in appearance size.
Testing software: Cinebench R20
The performance test results of the CPU: The single core score of the HONOR MagicBook 14 is 448 CB. the multi-core score is 2300 CB. The single core score of the HONOR MagicBook 15 is 444 CB. the multi-core score is 2326 CB. It is comparable. This shows the new generation processor is good. It can handle the daily business office multi-tasking.
2. Graphics card
Radeon Graphics (Renoir) graphics cards integrated with 4000 series processors are much better than the previous generation. That explains why AMD is more cost-effective.

In the test of graphics card, we first used Performance mode, which is the common P result. It can simulate the application scenario of laptop in daily office. In the end, HONOR MagicBook 14 scored 4,557 and Glory MagicBook 15 scored 4,667. Taken together, the performance of the larger fuselage is really good. In general, the performance of the larger fuselage is good.
Assessment Summary
HONOR MagicBook 14/15 are two mature products with core competitive advantages. They have power key integrated fingerprint identification, strong performance, long endurance, Magic-Link technology.
